We're Still Here

Yes, we are still here and yes I have not been blogging and yes the girls keep us running But NO... we would not have it any other way!

We will be traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday! I hope to post again soon!

Happy Halloween

This year was a bit different than last year. We had several family members in town because Reagan's Baptism was the day after Halloween. The girls got into their outfits for a photo shot with they grandparents. We had a blast and cannot wait to see what is in store for us next year!

Reagan's Baptism

November 1st was Reagan's Baptism.

She did great, she must take after her God-Mother! I am so excited that My Aunt Teresa and Uncle Nick are her God-Parents.

Like Grace, Reagan has a set of God-Parents that truly care about our girls! I hope and Pray that my girls come to find that Jesus is the Savior!

Reagan and Table Food

Reagan is now eating table foods and loving it! We began giving Reagan a few bites here and there of table food a few weeks ago. Then we noticed that she started getting mad when we feed her baby food while Grace ate what we were eating. So now she is eating table food and we give her baby food when she has not gotten enough to eat. She is growing up too fast!!!

Green beans, carrots, eggs, and pancakes are some of her favorites!

Taylor's Birthday

My sister Taylor recently had her 16th birthday. The girls and I went up to Memphis to help her celebrate this big b-day! I know that Grace, Reagan, and Emma had I blast! I hope that Taylor did as well!!!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

I few weeks ago my school had parent-teacher conferences. Two days before the girls' daycare reminded us about the upcoming Federal Holiday. I am so blessed to have an understanding boss. She allowed me to bring the girls to work with me.

Needless to say I do not get anything extra done that I planned to do, but I loved having the girls with me. My parent were great as well!

She's my Girl

Grace has always thought that she could do anything that mama does. Well, make-up and face mask don't stop her either. She loved it!

Jack and Jill

Grace has a boy friend. Well this is nothing new. Grace and a little boy at daycare have been friends since the first day she every went to Little Acorns. At Little Acorns they have earned the name Jack and Jill. They are always together.

Well Grace was invited to his birthday party. She had a blast.

There was a pony ride and a petting zoo not to mention "Jack" was there.

Did I mention that Grace would pnly ride the pony with mama!

Sisterly Love

Grace and Reagan are both taken with each other. They want to do everything together. I hope it stays this way as they get older.

Grace is always trying to get into Reagan's room to "check" on her. Every time Grace "checks" on Reagan she some how gets woken up!

As you might have guessed, our hands are full! But we would not have it any other way!

Reagan update

Reagan is now starting to crawl. She can pull up to her knees. All she needs to do is learn to move her legs and arms at the same time.

We found out this past week Reagan loves sunglasses. She has light blue eyes. I guess the sun is really bright for her! Doesn't she look too cute!

Finally, not only are we sitting up on our own, she can now put herself into a seated position without any help!

The Flu!

Brett and I have both had the flu! Mississippi is no longer testing to see if it is the H1N1 or the Regular Flu. But is was AWFUL! I was home sick for a week. Brett got it from me about half way through the week. We were lucky that Brett's mom came down to watch the girls while we were sick. I hope we do not get this again!!! We are now much better!

BAR RESULTS

We got the Mississippi Bar results on September 17th! Brett PASSED! I am so proud of Brett! Watching one of his dreams come true is such an honor and a blessing. Brett had several forms that had to be retyped because the state of Mississippi does not have blank forms on the interent. Mississippi get with it...it's 2009...upload the forms! Grace and Reagan had a blast playing while we got the forms ready! Now we have a new goal....getting a full time legal job! We hope to hear something this week...The Government takes FOREVER!

Labor Day Weekend

One of the best things about motherhood is watching your child and your husband. What is better than this?!

Brett and his family along with two other families, have been going on Labor Day trips forever. So natural we have just continued the family tradition. This year we went to Grant, AL. We stayed in this nice house on the lake. The view was amazing!

Of course I was in the hot tub as much as possible! The only problem was I forgot my swimsuit. We went to wal-mart and their swimsiuts were on sale for $1 for tops and $1 for bottoms. However, there were NO bottoms, a pair of shorts solved that! The first day the hottub was cold so it was a great swimming pool for Grace!

Grace loved playing outside. She did not like the leaves on the ground. Every time she would step on one she would pick up her foot and say nasty. I think she is alittle OCD!

Grace has a favorite place to sit outside. Of course it was with Uncle Rob.

One of the days was very rainy. The men still went golfing because it was just a steady sprinkle. The girls went shopping. Usually we go to the town square and all the great shops and antique stores. However, becasue it was raining we decided to go to the Unclaimed Baggage Center. This place was huge. They had a lot of different things. Whitney found some cute shirts for Gavin. I am not the type of shopper that can go through racks of clothes. So, the girls did not get anything. I am still blown away with what people pack in their loaded baggage. Hello - diamond rings and a Rolex. You have got to be kidding! Well all of the shopping and activity around the house finially caught up with Grace. She passed out on the chair watching Barney.

Kiki and Grandy really enjoyed time with the girls. Brett and I enjoyed an afternoon ride while the girls were with their grandparents. There is nothing like a nice quiet car ride!!!

Joni and Dale are one of the couples that come on the trip. I love them. I am always laughing when I am around these two. Their children and their families were unable to come. We hope to see them next year. (Talk about a house full of babies.) Mark and Lisa are the other couple that comes on the trip. Their son Sam and his wife Whitney with their new baby Gavin came on the trip. Mark and Lisa's daughter Laura and her husband also came. However their daughter Rebecca and her husband could not make it. They are currently living in Korea!

Dale still found a baby to hold. He is really a big Teddy Bear, as long as no one is watching! haha! This is Whitney and Sam's little boy, Gavin. He is such a cute little boy. I hope that his tummy is feeling better.

Just Chillin

The trip to the lake is about 6 hours. So on the way back we stop to say hi the Kiki and Grandy. Grace colored and played nonstop. She is just too cute with her feet on the table!

Your in the Family

We have a running joke about making it into our family when your picture makes it to the frige. While my cousin's boyfriend of several years has been trying to "make it into the family" for a while. Morgan decided to help him out and give him a tip. Hold a baby and you might make it onto the frige. A blog is so much better. Ben, picture or not, you have made it into our family. I am happy to see Morgan so happy! She is like my other sister, you got a great girl!

Even Fergie agrees! You know he is hard to please!

Lake Weekend

We LOVE the lake. Family, Sun and the Water always make for a great time! Grace was styling on the ride up to the lake!

And mommy don't forget to feed all the babies!

When we got to the Lake Grace went crazy over the play set Honey and Granddaddy got for the girls! A 3 man 12 hour job took about 2 weekends! I know who to call when we get one for home. There is no way I can do that!

Reagan was equally as happy. Especially to have her Honey to spoil her nonstop the whole weekend!

My brother's daughter, Emma. My favorite first niece also quickly took to the play set!

Once it got dark it was time to move the fun to the inside. Granddaddy always has the music going while we are at the lake. Taylor, Bradly and I never got into the nightly music jam. Who knew that the Grandchildren would find it to be one of the best things ever!

Oh, don't worry about forgetting to take the girls for a fun stroll up and down the drive way! Emma and Grace will let you know when they want a ride!

Just a few more minutes for playtime please!
